Anthony Davis is an artist and art educator hailing from the wild suburban jungles of the great midwest. A supportive family and artistic father lead to an early interest in art that quickly combined with a love of helping and imparting skills and knowledge to others. Attending Eastern Michigan University, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts Education and holds a current art teaching certificate for grade K-12 in the state of Arizona. Anthony has taught 1 year of English cultural exchange with the TaLK program in South Korea, 1 year of technology education and 4 years of art education with the Littleton Elementary District #65 in Phoenix Arizona, and is currently on his second year of public school English education with the Epik program in South Korea.
Anthony's current artwork is mainly focused on capturing experiences and attempting to hold onto the moment with a side dish of aesthetically awesome solely for aesthetics sake. His recent works are mainly photography, but he also creates sculptures, paints, and draws. The exploration of new materials and the re-use of the old are very important to Anthony as they embody the path that educators bravely tread.
